EOS
(EOS)

EOS is the legacy identity of the network now branded Vaulta, whose new native system token is A. Official migration instructions describe converting EOS to A at a one-to-one ratio. The legacy ticker and the new token contract must not be treated as identical deposit instructions.

How does EOS work?

The EOS-derived Vaulta network uses Antelope Spring, elected block producers and delegated proof of stake, with Savanna providing its finality protocol. Its native contracts use WebAssembly rather than being Ethereum ERC-20 transfers. The migration changes the system-token contract to core.vaulta; account permissions and resources remain important.

Where can you buy EOS?

Check official platform pages to establish whether the available asset is legacy EOS or Vaulta A and which contract and network deposits support. Do not infer that a former EOS listing has automatically migrated. Regional availability, conversion support and withdrawals must be verified for your specific account.

Before you buy

No exchange availability has been verified for this catalogue entry under the current full-name and symbol checks. This is not a delisting claim. Confirm the exact asset, trading access and withdrawal network through the provider before buying. All local checklists remain available at the end of this guide.

How can you buy EOS safely?

Confirm the exact EOS or A token identity, contract, account and any required memo before buying or withdrawing. Use only the migration route documented by Vaulta, and check whether the recipient supports it. Test a small transfer; a familiar EOS account name does not prove acceptance of the new token.

Can you buy a fraction of EOS?

Yes, Vaulta's documented A system token uses four decimal places, allowing fractional balances. That precision is separate from a platform's minimum order or withdrawal. Check whether you hold legacy EOS or migrated A before assuming that a displayed fraction is transferable through the same token contract.

Source 1

How much does it cost to buy EOS?

Buying EOS or A can involve spread, payment, trading and withdrawal charges. Native network operations also involve CPU, NET and potentially RAM resources rather than an Ethereum-style gas payment in ETH. Migration or sponsored transfers do not establish that every subsequent action is permanently free.

Sources 2

Is EOS a good investment?

EOS/A carries market, custody and migration risks, including sending the wrong token contract to an unsupported custodian. Resource shortages and permission mistakes can also prevent operations. A one-to-one migration does not preserve fiat value, and financial-service branding does not establish deposit protection or guaranteed returns.

How can you store EOS securely?

Protect the owner and active permissions of your EOS-derived account and review any custom permission you authorize. A secure backup must cover the actual signing keys, not merely the public account name. Hardware or multisignature arrangements require compatible tools and correct permission configuration to remain recoverable.

How do you send EOS to another wallet?

For A, use the documented core.vaulta token contract and the recipient's exact account and memo requirements. Legacy EOS uses a different contract. The first transfer of A can require RAM, and a migration action is not the same as an ordinary transfer; verify the route before signing.

Source 1

How much does it cost to send EOS?

Vaulta's EOS-derived resource model uses CPU, NET and RAM rather than treating every action as a simple ETH gas payment. Sponsorship or staked resources can change what the user pays directly. Check the wallet's resource estimate and any recipient or platform charge for the exact transfer.

Sources 2

Can you cash out EOS for real money?

Confirm whether your sale platform accepts EOS or A, using its official contract, network and memo instructions. Complete any needed migration or staking withdrawal before sending spendable funds. Receiving a legacy token does not imply that a platform accepts the upgraded token or offers a cash withdrawal.

Sources 2

Is EOS traceable?

EOS-derived Vaulta accounts, token transfers and contract actions are recorded on a public ledger. Human-readable account names and memo fields can reveal additional context, so avoid putting private information into a transfer memo unnecessarily. Pseudonymous account control is not the same as confidential payments.

Supply, mining & staking

What is the maximum supply of EOS?

Vaulta's upgrade documentation specifies a maximum A supply of 2.1 billion and a one-to-one EOS migration. Legacy EOS and replacement A should not be added together as if migration created two independent economic supplies. Current circulation and unconverted balances still require network-level verification.

Source 1

Can you mine EOS?

No, EOS-derived Vaulta does not use proof-of-work mining to issue coins through competitive hashing. Its producer, governance and staking infrastructure belongs to the Antelope system. Buying an advertised cloud-mining product is therefore not equivalent to participating in the network's native block-production mechanism.

Sources 2

Can you stake EOS?

Vaulta documents native token staking, but legacy EOS staking balances and the upgraded A system need migration-aware handling. Follow the current withdrawal and token-contract instructions instead of assuming an old wallet flow is unchanged. Staking terms and available resources are not a promise of fixed income or instant liquidity.
