How does Lido DAO work?
LDO holders vote on protocol decisions through DAO contracts and governance processes. Lido's staking machinery manages deposited ETH and issues separate receipt tokens. Ethereum supplies host-chain consensus; LDO ownership itself neither runs a validator nor makes Lido an independent proof-of-stake blockchain.
