How does Nexo work?
NEXO balances move through an Ethereum smart contract, with Ethereum providing transaction validation and settlement. Nexo separately determines how eligible account holdings affect its loyalty services. The token itself does not run a lending blockchain, and a platform interest product should not be confused with Ethereum validator staking.
Who created Nexo?
Nexo's first-party interview identifies Antoni Trenchev and Kosta Kantchev as co-founders of the business behind the token. That business attribution is different from creating Ethereum, which hosts NEXO. The services, token contract and current custody arrangements should each be assessed on their own terms.

What is the maximum supply of Nexo?
Nexo's token white paper lists 1 billion NEXO tokens. That issuance figure is different from the amount circulating on markets or held by a particular custodian. Loyalty balances and platform interest programs should not be mistaken for a new native blockchain emission schedule or proof of token scarcity-driven returns.
Can you mine Nexo?
No. NEXO is an issued Ethereum ERC-20 token, not a proof-of-work coin with a Nexo mining process. Ethereum currently uses proof of stake, but that does not turn NEXO into a validator asset. A service distributing NEXO as rewards is using its own program, not native token mining.
Can you stake Nexo?
NEXO does not provide native consensus staking of its own blockchain.
