Reserve Rights
(RSR)

Reserve Rights, or RSR, is an ERC-20 token used for governance and risk-bearing functions in Reserve's Decentralized Token Folio ecosystem. It is not itself a dollar-pegged stablecoin or a claim on a fixed reserve value. The asset-backed DTFs are separate tokens with their own collateral and governance settings.

What is Reserve Rights?

Reserve Rights, or RSR, is an ERC-20 token used for governance and risk-bearing functions in Reserve's Decentralized Token Folio ecosystem. It is not itself a dollar-pegged stablecoin or a claim on a fixed reserve value. The asset-backed DTFs are separate tokens with their own collateral and governance settings.

How does Reserve Rights work?

RSR interacts with Reserve smart contracts rather than operating an independent blockchain. In Yield DTFs, staked RSR supplies first-loss capital and governance; collateral defaults can cause that stake to be seized. Index DTF vote-locking is a different mechanism, and Ethereum or another supported host chain handles transaction execution.

How can you buy Reserve Rights safely?

Verify RSR's official contract and the network your withdrawal will use, then review platform eligibility and the order total. Do not confuse buying RSR with minting an asset-backed DTF or depositing into a staking contract. Check approvals carefully and retain the appropriate host-chain gas asset for self-custody.

Can you buy a fraction of Reserve Rights?

Yes, RSR can be handled in fractional token amounts, but a trading service sets its own order precision and minimums. Check withdrawal limits as well as purchase limits. A staked-RSR receipt represents a position in a particular DTF and should not be mistaken for an identical quantity of unstaked RSR.

How much does it cost to buy Reserve Rights?

The cost includes the RSR order value, spread, trading charges and any funding or withdrawal fees. On-chain purchases can also require approvals and host-chain gas, while bridges add their own costs. Buying RSR and staking it are separate transactions; compare the total spend rather than only the reference price.

Sources 3

Is Reserve Rights a good investment?

RSR is exposed to token-price and governance risk, while Yield DTF staking adds direct collateral-default risk: the protocol can seize staked RSR to cover losses. Related stablecoin collateral may depeg or become inaccessible. Neither diversification nor a buyback mechanism guarantees capital preservation. This is not financial advice.

Reserve Rights wallets & storage

How do you get a Reserve Rights wallet?

Use a wallet supporting RSR's exact official contract on the network you will receive it on, and back up its recovery credentials. Reserve documents cross-chain routes involving Ethereum and other networks, but support is representation-specific. Keep the correct gas asset and do not send funds to a token contract as a deposit.

Sources 3

How can you store Reserve Rights securely?

Secure the private keys for your RSR account and examine token approvals before using Reserve applications. Holding RSR in a wallet differs from putting it into a slashable DTF staking contract. Custodial access, bridge dependencies and contract permissions each add risks that an offline backup alone cannot remove.

How do you send Reserve Rights to another wallet?

Send RSR only on a network and token contract the recipient explicitly accepts, retaining that network's gas asset. For Ethereum RSR, that normally means ETH for execution. A direct transfer does not bridge tokens, and a staked-RSR receipt is not interchangeable with ordinary RSR for every deposit destination.

Sources 4

How long does a Reserve Rights transfer take?

RSR transfer timing follows its host chain's inclusion and finality rules, plus any exchange confirmation requirements. A bridge adds another process. Unstaking from a Yield DTF is different from transferring an available token balance: governance configures a delay so stake remains available to cover potential defaults.

Sources 2

How much does it cost to send Reserve Rights?

RSR does not pay gas for an independent Reserve blockchain. Ethereum RSR transfers pay ETH according to execution and gas-price conditions; supported other networks have their own fee rules. Staking, approving and bridging can cost more than a simple transfer, and exchange withdrawal charges are separate.

Sources 2

Can you cash out Reserve Rights for real money?

You can cash out RSR only through a service that supports selling it and withdrawing fiat for your account. Check the accepted RSR network before depositing and any staking exit restrictions beforehand. Redeeming an asset-backed DTF is a different operation, and converting RSR into a stablecoin is not a bank withdrawal.

Sources 3

Is Reserve Rights traceable?

Ordinary RSR transfers and Reserve contract actions are visible on their public host chains. Wallet addresses are pseudonyms rather than guaranteed anonymous identities, and service records may connect them to people. An asset-backed portfolio or staking receipt does not automatically hide the transactions that created or transferred it.

Supply, mining & staking

What is the maximum supply of Reserve Rights?

Reserve documents a fixed original supply of 100 billion RSR, with remaining allocations released through controlled wallets and mechanisms that can burn tokens. That is not the same as the current circulating supply. Unlocks change availability, while burns reduce outstanding tokens; neither guarantees a higher market price.

Source 1

Can you mine Reserve Rights?

No. RSR is an issued ERC-20 token, not a native proof-of-work coin. Its supply and distribution come from token allocations and Reserve's contracts rather than miners solving blocks. Receiving protocol revenue or taking a DTF risk position is a separate activity and should not be called native RSR mining.

Source 1

Can you stake Reserve Rights?

Yes, RSR can be staked in specific Yield DTF contracts, but this is first-loss collateral staking, not host-chain consensus validation. Your stake can be seized after collateral defaults and withdrawals have a delay. Index DTF vote-locking has different terms; neither mechanism offers a guaranteed APY or principal protection.
