Dent
(DENT)

Dent refers here to DENT, the telecom ecosystem token issued on Ethereum and documented in bridged form on DENTNet. It is not DENTX, the separate native asset used for DENTNet gas and staking. The former DENT App domain now points to Tunz, which does not itself establish a token conversion.

What is Dent?

How does Dent work?

Ethereum DENT is managed as an ERC-20 token, while DENTNet documentation describes transferring its bridged representation through an asset module. DENTNet uses nominated proof of stake with DENTX, not DENT, for native security and fees. Moving across these networks requires the documented bridge rather than a normal send.

Who created Dent?

DENT originated with DENT Wireless. Its original whitepaper names Tero Katajainen as founder and Mikko Linnamaki and Andreas Vollmer as co-founders. It traces the predecessor company to 2014 and the wider founders' involvement to 2017. The present consumer service is branded Tunz, while DENTNet documents a related telecom blockchain. Those later developments do not make DENT and native DENTX the same asset.

Sources 5

What is Dent used for?

DENTNet documents DENT payments for operator-provided telecom assets such as mobile data and voice minutes. DENTX separately covers transaction fees and staking, potentially with operator sponsorship. Check whether a current product actually accepts DENT; a telecom app's existence does not guarantee token utility or holder income.

How can you buy Dent safely?

Confirm that you are buying DENT rather than DENTX, and match the withdrawal network to the receiving wallet. Ethereum and DENTNet use different account systems. Check current route operation, costs and account restrictions, then test a small withdrawal; do not approve an irreversible DENTX swap unintentionally.

Sources 4

How much does it cost to buy Dent?

Buying DENT can involve spread, trading, payment and withdrawal charges. Ethereum wallet transactions need ETH, whereas DENTNet operations normally use DENTX fees. A bridge or DENT-to-DENTX swap adds separate steps and possible costs, so compare the final asset delivered rather than a quoted token price alone.

Sources 4

How much is one Dent worth?

Verify that a quote is for DENT, not DENTNet native DENTX. DENT trading, bridging and the documented DENT-to-DENTX swap are distinct actions, and the swap is described as irreversible. Compare a recent reference with the executable order and charges; the discontinued DENT Exchange is not a current purchase venue.

Sources 5

Is Dent a good investment?

DENT carries market, liquidity and telecom-adoption risks, with additional dependencies for bridged balances and DENTNet services. The consumer brand change and discontinued legacy exchange make current support especially important to verify. Swapping into DENTX changes the asset and is documented as irreversible. This is not financial advice.

Dent wallets & storage

How do you get a Dent wallet?

For Ethereum DENT, use a wallet supporting the verified ERC-20 token. For a documented DENTNet balance, use compatible software and enable that network; its SubWallet guide describes dx-prefixed addresses. Confirm current support and protect recovery material before funding either account, since the address systems are different.

Sources 3

How can you store Dent securely?

Keep recovery secrets private and offline, and distinguish your Ethereum DENT keys from any DENTNet account setup. Verify exact network support before relying on a hardware integration or custodian. Bridging and converting to DENTX introduce dependencies beyond key custody, and a wallet backup cannot reverse an executed swap.

Match your networks

For DENT, copy the exact network names shown in your apps. This compares your entries, not a verified list of supported networks.

Copy the exact network name shown for this asset in each app. No supported-network catalogue is assumed here.

How do you send Dent to another wallet?

Send DENT only through the recipient's explicitly supported network and asset route. Ethereum transfers require ETH gas; DENTNet token transfers normally require DENTX or documented sponsorship. Moving DENT between Ethereum and DENTNet is a bridge operation, not a direct transfer to a similarly named account.

Sources 5

How long does a Dent transfer take?

DENT transfer time depends on whether the route uses Ethereum, DENTNet or the bridge, plus any platform crediting checks. Documented bridge steps do not guarantee that a route is currently operational. Confirm the transaction outcome on the relevant network rather than relying on a wallet's submission message.

Sources 2

How much does it cost to send Dent?

On Ethereum, DENT transfers consume ETH gas; on DENTNet, the normal fee asset is DENTX. DENTNet documents weight, length and base-fee components with a congestion multiplier, while some sponsored or initial-swap workflows differ. Check the current quote instead of treating historical fee examples as fixed charges.

Sources 4

Can you cash out Dent for real money?

DENT can reach bank money only through a currently supported sale and fiat withdrawal service for your location. The closed DENT Exchange is not a current cash-out route, and a DENT-to-DENTX swap does not produce fiat. Verify deposit network, identity requirements and withdrawal availability before transferring.
